Awhile back, I had the opportunity to test out 13RUSHES' makeup brushes and created my Gala Night Makeup look with them. Today, I'm going to share with you a different type of brushes that 13RUSHES offers as well, their Cleansing Brushes!

Targeted cleansing on nose and eyelids

VERDICT
Texture: Ultra soft bristles, feels a lot like I'm touching the fur of Chinchillas when dry
Made Of : Taklon, a 100% synthetic alternative to animal hair
- Hypoallergenic, suitable for people with allergic responses to animal hair
- Removal of eye makeup thoroughly after the initial removal
- Reduces the appearance of blackheads on nose
It does help to remove leftover eye makeup that is between the lashes and works well around hard to reach areas like the sides of the nose. If you do use this for eye makeup removal, do take note if your cleanser does sting the eyes! It works well with just water too~
As for the reduction of appearance of blackheads on the nose after using this, it isn't an instantaneous result from just one use. But rather, using this would help prevent over accumulation of sebum, dead skin cells and dirt and as a result, reducing the likelihood of developing more blackheads.
Overall, unless you have difficulties at removing eye makeup in the initial process, this brush is more of a novelty product to have.

- Exfoliates to remove excess dead skin cells
LOVE THIS! If you really are looking for an affordable cleansing brush that will last (if you take care of it properly), this is the brush to get! It is gentle on the skin but dense enough to buff away excess dead skin cells and residual makeup on the surface!
However, for the claim that it reaches deep into the pores... I think that's an overstretched statement... unless you have very big huge pores, I dont see how it is possible. THAT being said, I understand how it helps with the reduction of blemishes, and how it helps to smooth and refine the skin texture.
Just take note to wash the brush thoroughly after each use and let it dry completely once in a while to maintain its structure and to disinfect it.
Overall, I think I am addicted to this brush!
