I chanced upon Derm-all Matrix Facial Dermal-Care Mask while I was on Instagram and got curious after watching the 30 seconds video, so I decided to purchase them on Shopee during its sales period!

WHAT IS THIS MASK ALL ABOUT?

Can you spot the blackheads?

I was pretty skeptical initially because I found the mask size to be too small for my face with excess flap around my nose (because I have no nose bridge LOL) so it doesn't adhere properly. From my experience, I start judging a mask as soon as it can't fit my face.

However, after googling around, I found that others used the excess from the eyes and lips to overlap it around the nose and forehead area and I found that it helps to "seal" the mask better and keep the mask stuck to my skin.

I like that while the mask comes drenched with a lot of serum in the bag, it doesn't drip and it really does help keep my skin well hydrated to the point that I woke up with the glass effect skin. A tip here is that I apply & pad the excess serum in the bag onto my skin first before I put the mask on.

The serum doesn't feel sticky and it's magical and fun to wake up to a transparent mask with blackheads and dead skin stuck to the mask. It's very satisfying and disgusting but it works. 

During this circuit breaker period, I find that this mask is sort of like my cheat to getting facial treatment. It helps to cleanse, remove gunk, treat and hydrate the skin without having to do much, other than to slap it on and sleep.

I will definitely be making another purchase soon after I finish my box!

This blush comes in a delicate blossom of  crafted rose petals, developed to closely mimic the real thing. Carefully handmade, each petal contains emollient oil, so the pigments can adhere to the skin without looking powdery. The color payoff is fresh and natural.

How To Use:

Take up the product with a large brush by stroking the petals gently.

Dust off excess powder on the back of your hand, and then apply to cheeks.

REVIEW

Colour Pay-off: 10/10

As a blush, I found the pigments sufficiently intense for that natural blush and it is surprisingly long-lasting. I believe it has some staining power too as it turned the tips of my white bristle brush pink, and I can't wash the stain out. 02 Red Rose is the most versatile shade for all skin type, so if you are looking at getting your hands on this blush, I would recommend this shade. 

Ease of Use:  8/10

A slight learning curve to use this blush, mainly because the pigments are on the petals that moves around in the bowl. However, once you get a hang of it, it's becomes second nature. The main challenge of using this blush is knowing when you "hit pan". I know of some users who would use this blush one petal at a time to be able to use each to its full potential.

Packaging: 10/10

It's so pretty even on its own, sitting on any ladies' vanity table. I smile when I look at my collection!

OVERALL RATING: 9/10 

I love everything about this product, from the pigmented petals, to the details on the pot and the scent. The scent of this reminds me of baby powder with a hint of rose.

 I would also like to point out that the petals (refill) and the pot are 2 different purchases, so take note! For the entire set, it will cost a total of S$150 for a blush which is considered a luxury beauty product to most. For me, the justifications for my collection are that the product does last pretty long, it makes me happy looking at them and I don't own much blushes. So I guess, this is my one of my guilty pleasures in life! If you want to splurge on a quality blush, I highly recommend this in 02 Red Rose shade!

Natural Refreshing Shower Gel

This shower gel foams up comfortably, and it doesn't leave my skin feeling dry. The scent is also very pleasant but not overly scented. I gave this product full marks because it cleans quite thoroughly and leaves a slight refeshing sensation on my skin after use!

For a shaving cream, this doesn't seem to lubricate the skin well enough for shaving. The minty sensation is nice on the skin until you get a cut and for someone who has troubled skin (pimples), it is very common for me to cut my skin as I shave. That being said, after shaving, I find that it doesn't leave my skin dry like some conventional shaving gels and cream but I would not make another purchase of this.

I love this cleanser, it cleans my oily skin very well without drying out my skin. The scrub bits are just right in texture for exfoliating, it feels like sandpaper in liquid form. I just wished that it comes in a bigger sized so that I don't have to keep buying small bottles of this each time I run out.
