LJH Oxygen Brightening Bubble Mask

To Use:

Apply evenly on your face except around the eye and lip areas. Wait until tiny bubbles are formed and then use these bubbles to gently massage your face. Rinse off with warm water. Use 2-3 times a week for best results.

VERDICT

Texture: Gel that turns into a layer of tiny bubbles

As mentioned in the video, this mask does help to make my skin feel soft and smooth after use and there seems to be a slight whitening effect. However, some of the ingredients used in this product are ingredients that I try to avoid, especially Sodium Laureth Sulfate.

Because, I have such sensitive skin~ it does raise some personal concerns when I was about to do this review. A quick check on the rest of the ingredients in the product, shows that overall, if you have a normal skin condition, this product shouldnt have any adverse effect on your skin.

That being said, i think this product is good when you are in need of a quick resolution to brighter, softer skin, like just before a date *wink* Just ensure to do a patch test before applying it on your face to ensure that you are not allergic to the ingredients!

LJH Cellabel M.C. Vital CC Cream

To Use:

At the last stage of skin care, apply a moderate amount all over face gently.

VERDICT

Texture: Creamy

Ingredients: 

Benefits:

• Multi-purpose cream that combines vitamin C essence, makeup and sun care. 
• Corrects skin tone - Provides excellent coverage - Smooth touch without stickiness from natural plant ingredients 
• No Paraben, No Mineral Oil, No Ethanol, No Tar Coloring, No Fragrance, No Animal Material & No Triethanolamine (T.E.A)

• Centella Asiatica for your skin recovery and regeneration

Smell: Mild floral scent

This clever formulation not only treats blemishes but also lightly covers up them up by matching their color to your skin tone like magic! On top of that, its rich source of vitamin C also helps to prevent skin troubles and improve skin condition, which is always a plus!

I like its all in one functions which is great for ladies on the go like me, however, as mentioned in the video~ I find that it doesnt cover up my imperfections as much as I would like it to do and it leaves me looking oily after awhile :( It could be due to my oily skin condition.

That being said, if you have normal to dry skin conditions and are looking for a CC Cream that would provide you with minimal coverage, acts as a sunblock and to nourish your skin during the day~ Give this product out a try!

Marriott Hotel Pool Terrace Pavilion & Pool Grill

Last week, I spent the evening at Mariott Hotel Pool Terrace Pavilion at Pool Grill with the people from influr & a whole community of bloggers to find out more about making our influences on the social platform work hard for us, and reap in benefits.

The event was held under a pavilion near the pool (exactly where I was standing to take the photo above) and I got to admit that the view itself is amazing~!

We had finger food for the event and these are my favourites!

I love seafood and so, I'm naturally biased here.

Something so simple yet really yummy, was this with jam and cheese on a mini toast (?)!

And everyone's favourite: Macaroons!

The best thing of all was the service of their staff~

(Because Imma hungry monster) I jokingly told one of the guy to come to us whenever he serves the food and he really did! All I need to do was to stand there and the food comes waltzing towards me.

LANEIGE'S new concept BB Cushion

As part of the invitees to influr's event, we got to take home with us a brand new Laneige BB Cushion to try out!

VERDICT

Texture: Slight cooling effect upon application, doesnt feel oily

Smell: It smells quite similar to Johnson & Johnson's Baby Shampoo

Product Rating: 9/10

I have a combination skin, oily and sensitive. I used to have really bad experience with BB creams and I generally do not like using them. I tend to find them a little too sticky, oily for my skin and it gives off this shiny appearance that makes my face looks way too oily for my liking.

However, I was pleasantly surprised to see that with this new concept BB Cushion, it goes off the right amount of glow to my skin that sounds "radiant skin" rather than "oily face"! 

I like that the coverage is also buildable without caking, and it evens out my skin tone and blemishes pretty well. Best of all, I love that it has a high SPF and PA ratings! 

The only thing I didnt like about using a product like this is the hygiene factor... Due to my sensitive skin, it bugs me a little to imagine bacteria breeding on the product. Unlike a face powder that is dry, this is moist (good breeding ground for nasty bacteria) and it doesnt seem to mention anything in the product that it is anti-bacterial or etc(Will have to research on the ingredients used). So, I only use this on a clean skin and for the rest of the day, I touch up with a powder. It is also good to wash the sponge frequently! I guess they anticipated this issue, so it's good to know that the refill pack comes with a clean new sponge too!

Just like every other ladies, I love makeup!

I once watched an anime (oh those lovely teenage days) called Saiunkoku Monogatari and from it, I picked up something very interesting. It was something that stuck with me ever since and it shaped the way I view and use makeup.

Nowadays, makeup is view as a vanity product and ladies who uses too much of it are labelled vain and superficial. To make makeup seen as something more horrible, people have started comparing ladies after and before looks, laughing and mocking how "ugly" these beauty really are.
