Everyone was asking me about my Miss Universe experience and well people, I am going to summarise it all in this post!

The days before the finals, we were jammed with full days rehearsals, trying our best to remember  and perfect all the sequence of the show as well as our dance moves in our 5 inches heels~

Even our hosts for the night, Jean and Mike were with us, to rehearse... 

And on the day of the Grand Finals, we did our final rehearsal before getting prep for make up and hair by The Hair Secrets

 Did some warm ups and goof around~

Then Vanessa gathered us and gave us her words of encouragement...

and it was show time!

So, we had our Harvey Davidson dance routine first... 

followed by our Bikini by Jog segment... 

with Evening Gowns by Irene Creations to end the  show.

Result wise, I didnt get into Top 7 but I didnt go home empty...

Besides, being awarded with Miss Crowning Glory by The Hair Secrets~

I gained the friendships of many new found friends who I hold very closely to my heart...

 and the confidence I have built that I will carry with me as I progress with my life!

Roughly 2 weeks back, Miss Universe Singapore held its Press Conference showcasing all the 14 finalists.

Let me just say that it was definitely an experience I wont forget...

All of the finalists had to introduce ourselves to the Media and it was pretty nerve-wreaking!~

My speech didnt turn out the way I hoped it would be but well~ at least everyone had a little laugh.

So far, this journey of my life has been awesome! 

Cant wait for the finals on 9 Sept!~

Until then, I am working my flabbiness away~

So talking about transformation, just last weekend I went to The Hair Secrets to get some awesome pampering done after my kickboxing session in the morning.

Before

Agnes analyzed the condition of my hair and concluded that I would get some layering done, a new coat of dark reddish brown dye and end things off with a hair treatment.

 Before I show you the up close photo of my final look, here are a few of the candid shots taken!

Hi peeps!~

It has been awhile, and just recently, I decided to take up another personal challenge.

I am now participating in Miss Universe Singapore 2012. 

And with that, my schedule has been pretty packed ever since~

With what you may ask...

Well, everyone with what I would like to call as the Transformation Process.

Ever watched Miss Congeniality? It is something like that. 

There are 4 parts to the process:

Part 1: Grooming and Deportment

Part 2: Fitness and Physique Development

Part 3: Refinement of Hair, Teeth etc

Part 4: Tying everything in to provide the end result

And that is pretty much what I have been up to, besides work and play!

This is the fun portion of a pageant~ Tiring no doubt, painful at some stage but it's all for self growth!

I will never have been where I am today doing what I do, if I didnt make a decision to join Miss Earth and receive all transformation lessons they provided. Im hoping for a second chance to further refine my flaws and boost my confidence!
