Back in October, when I walking around the booths at Giftopia's event, I spotted a familiar brand that I really love! That brand is Que Origin, and I fell in love with their very first products back when I was reviewing their Natural Shower Bath. You may view my review of them here!

This time round, I'm back with another review about it is for their latest released products: Jelli-Q & Potion Lotion Body.

JELLI-Q

Introducing Jelly-Q, the one body polish that you'll ever need. It is created to eliminate all of the nasty ingredients of a commercial body scrub, with 3 functions (Nourish, Polish & Cleanse) in 1 use!

To Use:

Remove the top layer of jelly by using fingers to pull and spatula to flip it up upon your first use (This jelly is to preserve while shipping).

Use the spatula to scoop the desired amount on the lid provided. Do not use hands to scoop in order to prevent contamination. Wash the lid and spatula after use.

Avoid any direct exposure of sunlight or hot areas.

Texture: Jelly-like with different sizes of grains

Darker tone - Coarse exfoliators

Lighter tone - Superfine exfoliators

Mix them or use them individually for different areas, you have full control.

Benefits:

I love the scent of this, and it leaves a light scent on the skin after use. Initially, when I first used it, I applied it on wet skin and tried to scrub but the product would simply just slide off the skin, making it very hard to use the product properly. It was only until I used it on dry skin then the scrubbing potential was unleashed!

To illustrate how effective the scrub is, I tested it on the back of my hand with 3 types of makeup: foundation, waterproof & smudge-proof eyeliner and blush.

The finer grains are very effective at scrubbing away all 3 types of makeup and I believe that it is the finer grains that would work well at cleansing and polishing away all the dead skin cells. The bigger grain only managed to remove the foundation and blush but had some spots of the eyeliner left, I personally find that the coarser grains are more effective at improving blood circulation underneath the skin and would work great for areas like the thighs and heels. 

Other than that, I would love if the product size was slightly bigger because I foresee myself using it up with less than 10 full body scrubs session.

POTION LOTION BODY

Ever wanted a body lotion that is not greasy and oily yet choose your favourite scent in it? This is it! We present you 3 reasons why Potion Lotion is the answer. 

To Use:

Apply right after shower or bath as that is the time where your skin is clean, in need to seal moisture and absorb nutrients. Apply sparingly and layer bit my bit to allow your skin to fully absorb the product. Thus, getting the right Potion plays a greater role than the amount applied.

Give a gentle shake for the Oiless Satin before use to prevent the Arrowroot powder from sitting on the bottom.

Texture:

Oiless- Lightest in viscosity, but took the longest to be absorbed

Potion 50- The medium of both extremes

Potion 100- The most moisturising and hydrating out of all

As with all of their products, I love the scent of this!Even though I noted that there is a slight difference in scent among the variants, it is nothing major. Potion 100 has a more rounded floral scent compared to Oiless Satin's sharper floral scent. However, what really sold my heart away was how non-greasy their potion lotions are, even the Potion 100.

To decide which variant is ideal for you, I would suggest Oiless Satin if you are constantly outdoor or in a humid environment. Potion 100 if you are constantly indoors with an air-conditioned environment. And lastly, Potion 50 if you are clueless or are in both types of environments.

A few moons ago, I attended Singapore Fashion Runway 2015 and chanced upon a very interesting Eco-fashion label for men and women that specializes in designer wear that uses organic and eco-friendly fabric of quality and comfort. I knew that I had to collaborate with this label, and it is none other that, Chere & Dillon.

So I arranged a short interview with label owner, Dawn to learn more about her lifestyle and the label.

Hi Dawn, thank you very much for accepting this interview for my blog! Please tell me a little about yourself and Chere & Dillon.

It's my pleasure to share. I am a mother of 3 lovely children, and I was working 15 years in the public sector, before I realised that there is always something amiss in my life; and that was that my entrepreneur heart has not found its place. Then in 2014, I met some amazing people who inspired me much to make my dream into reality. I decided to take a plunge and launch my fashion label in late 2014. Chere & Dillon was named, taking its roots from Chere which means beloved, and Dillon, which means being true. Just like the name, our brand aspires to create a bond with perfect depiction of timeless love between two individuals in a most genuine relationship in its organic form.

That's a really pretty name for the label! How does Chere & Dillon represent itself and differ from other brands?

Chere & Dillon differentiate with use of natural fabrics such as organic cotton which is free from harmful chemicals and Tencel made of 100% natural fibres from wood pulps, is bio-degradable and incredibly environmental friendly. 

Chere & Dillon is a brand that represent  love in the simplest & purest form, yet original. 

I love how wholesome and pure Chere & Dillon is being positioned. Is this a personal reflection of yourself as the woman behind the label? If so, may I know what is your motto in life and how does that translate to your style?

In a way, I believe that we should be authentic as individuals, being as real as possible and that is reflected in the quality of my product. I expect them to be at its most original form as much possible. 

Moreover, as a dreamer at heart, I love dreamy pastel colours and flying drapes in the styles. I like my clothes to be free & easy – simple , easy to wear and of an effortless style.

That's the impression I had when I saw your collection on the runway during Singapore Fashion Runway 2015. May I know what or who is your fashion inspiration then?

Nature is my inspiration. Anything in the nature that I connect it with an emotion, could be an inspiration.

Talking about nature, do you think people should consider eco-fashion and even make the switch to be more sustainable with their choice in outfits?

I don't expect that people would seek out eco-fashion in the first place or switch to eco-fashion completely. But I believe if the design stands out and if it's made with quality material, people would have a better inclination to buy if they know they are made of eco-friendly material.  

Oh yes, speaking about material... I am very amazed by how soft the fabric feels! I've never expect that 100% natural fibres derived from wood pulps could feel this soft! What is the one most important message for my readers to know about Chere & Dillon?

Anyone can play a part no matter how small it may be, it all starts with you. A step at a time, we can choose to shop wisely with right choice of fashion.
